Ingredients:

  • 250 g cabbage/purple cabbage
  • 2 cm thick slice of ginger
  • 2 handfuls of walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 apples
  • Soy sauce
  • Maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chili

Instructions:

1. Cabbage:

Grate the cabbage or finely slice it with a knife and place it in a bowl.

Sprinkle salt over the cabbage and let it sit for half an hour to release its juices.

2. Add ginger:

Grate the ginger over the cabbage or press it using a garlic press.

3. Add Walnuts:

Sprinkle toasted and finely chopped walnuts, as well as toasted sesame seeds, over the cabbage, and mix well.

Add soy sauce and maple syrup to the mixture.

4. Apples:

Slice the apples and brush them with a little grapeseed oil.

Grill the apple slices in a pan for 1-2 minutes.

Place the grilled apple slices on top of the cabbage mixture.

5. Serve:

Season with pepper and add a little chili according to taste.
